*Rules and Regulations

All Pageant applications must be received by August 19, 2024. 

Parents and guardians of Contestants in the Cumberland County Fair Pageant (ages 0-21) must agree to the *Rules and Regulations. Adult contestants can sign for themselves.  

The Winners in each age division will receive a crown, trophy, and sash, and up to three Runner-Ups will receive a Trophy. 

Participants are judged on the following criteria: Beauty/Appearance, Stage Presence, Stage Personality, and Overall Impression. Each counts 25% of the total scores of Beauty and Outfit of Choice competitions.

Inappropriate behavior, poor sportsmanship, or failure to follow the rules by contestants, parents, or anyone in attendance will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification of a participant as deemed necessary by the pageant staff for the program's integrity. No refund of fees will be made in case of disqualification. 

The decision of the Judges is final. 

Parents and attendees cannot discuss or approach the judges at any time during the pageant. 

We will mail out the contestant's score sheets within 5 business days of the pageant. 

(Sometimes they are available at the end of the pageant), Please pick up your photogenic pictures before leaving the pageant. 

Each contestant will have free admission and one person to enter free as their chaperone.  Everyone else must purchase a ticket to enter the Cumberland County Fair, and you can then enter the pageant for no additional charge. 

Please have only one person per contestant backstage.

To add to our website, a digital photo (headshot) of each contestant must be submitted by midnight on August 19. This photo does not need to be professional, but it does need to be a headshot and should be clear. Square photos work best. 

The Rehearsal will be held at the Crown Theater on August 30. See your specific rehearsal time on our website. The pageant be held in the Crown Theater on August 31. If you are in photogenic, please bring your 8x10 photo (or a similar size) to the rehearsal. This photo should be of good or professional quality. 

Please be on time for the rehearsal and on time on the day of the pageant to compete. Contestants who miss their stage call during competition will have an automatic 3-point deduction. 

Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please remember that although we are in an auditorium, this is an "Agriculture" Fair Pageant, and you are at a Fair. Be prepared to enter the gate and have your bags checked. You will have to carry your wardrobe through the Fair. Wear comfortable shoes for this, arrive early and plan to walk to get to the auditorium. Tell the gate attendant you are a pageant contestant. It is best to pack your outfits in CLEAR bags, so that you have less security issues at the gate. Clear purses are best too. Keep a great attitude and make your way to the auditorium. This pageant is a lot of fun! Prepare extra time for parking and walking through the crowd to get to the auditorium.

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, all winners will meet in the Lobby area outside the Crown Theater doors to take our annual pictures at the Fair. Wear your Crown, Sash, makeup, and Red, White and Blue. Winners and one chaperone are admitted free at the gate. 

Division Winners from last year can compete this year if they move up to a new age group. Majestic Winners from last year cannot compete this year.
